What items should I bring with me during my stay?

Individuals should consider bringing the following items:

  • Kitchen appliances and utensils
  • Residents are encouraged to bring a desk or floor lamp
  • Standard twin-xl sheets, pillow, pillowcase, fitted sheet, blanket, washcloths, and towels
  • Iron and ironing board
  • Television
  • Toiletries
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Laundry Detergent

What is the difference between a single and double room?

Single rooms are individual bedrooms with 1 bed inside. Double rooms are a 1 bedroom with 2 beds inside.

What are the check in and check out times?

Students and summer guests may check in at the front desk of their building between 12 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on their assigned check-in date. Guests are required to check out of their summer housing assignment no later than 12:00 p.m. on the designated check out date.

If I currently live in the West Tower and submit an application for summer housing, can I remain in my current unit during my summer assignment?

Students currently living in the West Tower may remain in their current room during the summer.

If I live in the West Tower during the summer, will I be able to move directly into my fall housing assignment?

Students staying in the West Tower during the summer may remain in their summer housing assignment during the interim period at no charge, and move directly into their fall housing assignment. Note that if you choose to move into your fall housing assignment prior to the fall move-in date, you will be required to pay the interim housing rates.
