Howard University is an acclaimed institution located in one of the most exciting cities in the world – Washington, D.C. Offering a variety of diverse, convenient and affordable on-campus housing options, our campus is the perfect place to host your group during the summer months.
Housing options in our residence halls range from traditional dormitories in Charles Drew Hall or Cook Hall, to modern, suite-style living in the Howard Plaza Towers. All facilities are located on campus, within walking distance to anywhere in the vibrant, Shaw neighborhood. Click here to learn more about our available housing options.
Group housing is available to approved groups, organizations or camps during the summer period, beginning mid May through July. All group participants must be involved in an education-related program, participating in a structured program of activities in order to reside in our facilities.
Group housing rates are based on the size of your group, length of stay and residence hall availability. Click here to view rates and floor plan options available for summer 2018. Note that all group reservations are subject to paying the 14.5% DC Housing Accommodation Tax, unless you meet one or more of the exemptions noted on our conference group license agreement.
While our office provides housing services to interested parties, we are happy to connect you with the appropriate department to assist you with any additional conference needs. Please view our guest services page for a list of available options.
