Howard University offers traditional residence halls and suite style residential units to graduate and undergraduate students throughout the year, as well as interns, camps and conference groups looking for housing options in Washington, D.C. during the summer season.

Cook Hall

Located in the heart of the Howard University campus, George W. Cook Hall is the perfect location to house guests attending camps and summer conferences in the Washington, DC area.

Accommodating approximately 200 guests, rooms are equipped with a twin size bed and extra-long mattress, a dresser for additional storage space and a full-sized desk to accommodate work  or study needs.

All rooms are air conditioned and wired for cable television, internet services, and local telephone use. Other amenities include access to the club room, which includes a television lounge, work/study hall. Front desk services are also available 24/7.

Drew Hall

Charles R. Drew Hall is equipped to comfortably house approximately 330 guests during the summer months.  Visitors are provided with twin size bed and extra long mattress, as well as a dresser, desk, and bookshelf. Rooms are wired for cable television, the internet, and telephone service. Other amenities include a study room, computer Lab, vending machines, and microwave in the snack room. The lounge area, large screen TV room, weight room and 24/7 front desk services are also available to guest who stay in Drew Hall during the summer months.

Howard Plaza Towers – East and West

The Howard Plaza Towers are conveniently located throughout campus near academic and administrative buildings, dining facilities, campus events, libraries and so much more. Nestled just off of Georgia Avenue, the Howard University Plaza Towers offers guests an off-campus feel, while maintaining the convenience of being close to campus resources.

Howard Plaza Towers West

The Howard Plaza Tower West can accommodate approximately 825 guests and offers shared efficiencies, as well as double and triple suites, all equipped with kitchens and bathrooms. All units have been designed for shared or single living while providing a level of privacy for the individual. Other building amenities include on-site parking, a computer lab, study rooms, cable, internet, and local telephone service. Howard Plaza Towers East

The Howard Plaza Towers East is currently under construction and will be available to summer guests during summer 2018.
